Here is a picture of my husband, Adam, and I. This was before we were married. Almost a year before.

We were married July 19th 2003! We have been married for 2 YEARS!!! It has gone by fairly quick. We were dating on and off for almost 5 years and great friends for many years before! Mackenzie was born November 29th 2003 @ 6:52pm. She weighed 4 pounds 7 ounces and was 17 and a 1/2 inches long. Since that day our life has completely changed.

On March 1st 2004, Adam left for his Basic Military Training for the Air Force.

Mackenzie and I were left in New York for 3 months, while Adam completed boot camp and the first month and a half of his technical school. On May10th we were finally allowed to move down to Texas to be with him. Happiest day I can remember.  So, all of our family helped me pack and get everything all set four our move. My dad drove us down with a big UHaul and a trailer carrying our car. We departed May 10th, my dad's birthday, and the loooong journey began.

We arrived in Texas on May 13th.  I didn't get to see Adam until the next day.  I was just so excited that we were actually in the same state, let alone the same town! I was minutes from the base, but I couldn't see him. It was past his curfew.

The next day was me and my dad unloading the truck. I had to rent a storage unit, since we didn't have a place to live yet. So as we were finishing all of the unpacking, a giant storm decides to hit us. Was not fun at all. Especially with an unhappy 5 month old who was very hungry. I had nothing to feed her. So I had to search in this town, where I have never been before, and try to find a store in the horrible weather, to get her some formula. No such luck. The power was out EVERYWHERE!!!! So no stores were open, and no stores were willing to help me out. We were far from happy campers.

So, we found an apartment about a week later. It was really nice. I loved it. It was more like a town house. But we called it home. We did not unpack everything though, we were planning on moving again in just a few months. So there really was no point. So anyway, Adam was allowed to move off base and move in with us about 2 weeks later!!!! We were in Texas for about 6 months. So, we just moved to Louisiana. We will be stationed here for about 2 years. After that, I have no idea. We like the base here, not crazy about the area we are in, but what can we do. We are on our own now! A happy little family! We depend on each other and our faith in God. Here we are just a few weeks back! 11/29/04 - Mackenzie's FIRST BiRtHdAy!!! YaY!! My Parents and two of my sisters drove down from New York to spend her first birthday with us. It was so much fun!!!

4~14~05 - Well, life has been pretty good lately. We just celebrated Adam's 21st birthday. We also found out that we have a house on base! After 6 long months of waiting! We move in on the 29th of April! The day after we found out about our upcoming move, we found out we are expecting baby #2! We are both very excited! So is our family. We cannot wait for this new bundle of joy to arrive! Only 8 months to go, lol. My expected due date is December 12th. Mackenzie has a possibility of sharing a birthday. Her due date was Decmber 16th, but she arrived November 29th.

10-29-05 - Well, we found out July 15th that we are expecting a baby boy. His name will be Nicholas Ryan. Up until week 29, the pregnancy was going great!! September 16th to the 30th Mackenzie and I took a trip back to NY. The day after we got back, I was admitted to the hospital due to preterm labor. I have been here since October 1st and will continue to be here until November 15th. I am on a pump to stop the progress of labor. They will take me off the pump when I turn 36 weeks on the 15th of November. Nicholas can be here anytime between now and then. If he is born now, he will be fine! He weighs an "estimated" 4 pounds 12 ounce and all of his measurements are perfect! He is a healthy baby boy!!

5*17*2006 - Nicholas Ryan was born on November 26th 2005 @ 9:07am. He weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces! He had some issues at birth. He was born with Polycythemia, too much blood. He was in the NICU for a week before he was able to come home and meet his big sister. For about 2 weeks after that we had to make a trip to the hospital almost everyday to get his blood checked. Because of the Polycythemia, he had jaundice really bad. We had to do at home treatments as well. It has been almost 6 months and he is perfectly healthy!! Life has been wonderful home with my 2 wonderful babies and my amazing husband!!

So that is our recent story. I am going to try and figure out how to make this site interesting. I have alot of learning ahead of me. But in time I should be able to get it. So I'll keep you posted!!!
